About the position

Chewy is seeking a Director of Partner Marketing to join our Site Experience Team, focusing on the development of paid marketing programs for our suppliers and vendor partner brands. This pivotal role will involve establishing a comprehensive customer experience and monetization strategy that spans supplier-focused content and features. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various teams, including category management, advertising, product management, site merchandising, marketing, finance, and analytics, to create programs that deliver significant value to both Chewy's customers and suppliers. As the business continues to grow rapidly, this leader will need to maintain a clear vision while remaining adaptable to changes in the market and business demands. The position is based in Plantation, FL, Bellevue, WA, or Boston, MA, and requires a strong background in retail, advertising, partner marketing, and/or e-commerce. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader who is comfortable influencing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives. In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop a team to execute program strategies effectively. You will define the customer experience strategy for supplier-focused programs within Chewy's marketing ecosystem, which includes site merchandising and email marketing. Additionally, you will be responsible for defining monetization strategies for supplier paid marketing programs, integrating these programs with advertising product development, and managing the roadmap to enhance the paid marketing experience. Your role will also involve scaling program operations in collaboration with category management and finance, as well as utilizing web analytics and data to optimize supplier programs to achieve category revenue and monetization goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team to drive program strategies and execution.
  • Define the customer experience strategy for supplier-focused programs within Chewy's marketing ecosystem.
  • Define monetization strategies for valuation for supplier paid marketing programs.
  • Lead integration of supplier paid marketing programs and advertising product development.
  • Drive a roadmap to evolve and improve the paid marketing experience.
  • Manage and scale program operations with category management and finance.
  • Define and scale web analytics and data to guide ongoing improvements and optimize supplier programs to drive category revenue and monetization goals.

Requirements

  • College degree in a business-related field.
  • 10+ years of work experience, with 2+ years in e-commerce.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization.
  • Ability to think ahead and set plans in motion for future growth needs.
