About the position

The Director, Partner Success, is a leadership role within the Aspen Institute's Creative Services team, responsible for managing client projects and ensuring high-quality deliverables. This position involves strategic development, client management, team oversight, and business development, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to the Institute's 70+ projects and programs. The director will collaborate across divisions and report to the Vice President of Communications and Marketing, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop work products and manage teams for Creative Services' clients.
• Advise clients on strategies and oversee projects from start to finish.
• Ensure top-notch customer service and oversee all implementation.
• Contribute to business development efforts and collaborate across divisions.
• Initiate new work with kickoffs and ensure timely implementation of deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across Institute projects and programs.
• Coach and support the team to ensure high performance and quality outputs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in communications and marketing, preferably at a full service firm or large nonprofit organization.
• Proven experience in strategy development and implementation.
• Strong client management skills with the ability to provide strategic guidance and regular project updates.
• Experience in leading and managing a team of content creators and their respective deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple teams and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in communications, including strategy, creative, and fundraising.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
