About the position

The Director of Partnership Sales will work closely with the VP of Sales & Marketing to identify and establish new marketing partnerships aimed at generating revenue for T-Mobile Center. This role focuses on building and nurturing client relationships, executing new business deals, and preparing tailored sponsorship presentations to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
  • Make solicited and unsolicited contacts, network, and attend community events to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Reach out to potential client executive level management to explore partnership opportunities.
  • Respond to leads and general account inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Close and execute new deals, memorializing and documenting activities according to SOPs.
  • Prepare sponsorship presentations tailored to client needs and events.
  • Pitch event/sponsorship presentations to potential clients to create new business.
  • Evaluate historical data to create strategies for sponsorships for specific events.
  • Review potential clients to assess partnership opportunities.
  • Follow established company SOPs regarding contracting, invoicing, execution, and follow-up.
  • Assist other departments to ensure events are on schedule, including Marketing, Venue Operations, and Premium Seating.
  • Keep management informed of progress toward revenue goals and closing identified prospects through accurate reporting.
  • Assist VP with necessary analysis, research, and planning to meet objectives and budgets.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of related work experience.
  • Proven results in closing sales.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating solutions.
  • Ability to assist with effective management of a sales team and motivate others.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and sales volume.
  • Capable of maintaining a flexible work schedule, including event nights and community programming.
