About the position

The Director of Performance Resiliency at Black & Decker will be a key member of the Americas Commercial Finance team, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and profitability through strategic pricing initiatives and cost management. This remote position requires strong leadership and analytical skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and project management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering impactful results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide critical insights and process standardization focused on Cost To Serve Customer Programs and Pricing Initiatives.
  • Deliver OM Improvement Initiatives centered around operational efficiency and promotional effectiveness.
  • Partner with the NA Pricing Leader to establish and implement tariff offsetting price initiatives.
  • Enhance profitability and efficiency by developing cost to serve customer programs.
  • Drive cost to serve process, tools, and reporting harmonization.
  • Develop project plans and timelines in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and identify project risks.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, driving engagement and supporting workstreams.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they have necessary resources.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and team members.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare project status reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and conduct quality reviews.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to stay on track.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting project timeline or budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • MBA Degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years demonstrated Finance experience.
  • Experience growing, developing, and managing a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Interpersonal effectiveness and leadership experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills in a matrixed environment.
  • High business acumen and collaboration with functional and business leaders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in revenue growth management and operational efficiency assessments.
  • Familiarity with S&OE enhancements and POS insights.
