The position is accountable for leading, guiding, and directing the Trinity Health ministry or enterprise functional responsibilities. This role is crucial in enabling RHM level strategy to address both internal and external business and regulatory issues. The individual will provide functional expertise and ensure the fulfillment of performance and service standards, which are essential for consistent operating performance and achieving financial goals. The position involves identifying, defining, and solving complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business. Collaboration with System Service Areas, Regions, and Health Ministries is vital to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations. Additionally, the role requires maintaining awareness of new industry developments and standards, providing decision support, and focusing on operations and optimization leadership. The culture at Trinity Health emphasizes understanding and incorporating the organization's Mission, Values, Vision, Actions, and Promise into daily behaviors, practices, and decisions. Leadership responsibilities include providing advice, guidance, and leadership to RHM and Region leaders in developing strategies and achieving performance goals. The role also enables collaboration across service areas, RHM, and Regions to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations. In terms of direction and growth, the position involves leading the standardization and optimization of policy, process, and methodology, while establishing a national community of practice. The individual will oversee Vendor/Contract Labor Management, centralizing strategy, and optimizing spending. Strategic support and accountability are also key components, as the role collaborates in system-wide strategy development and deployment of functional area priorities and initiatives. The individual will be responsible for supporting regional efforts to comply with functional area priorities and will be accountable for the selection, evaluation, and overall success of the functional leadership teams. Operational delivery responsibilities include measuring and reporting KPIs/metrics and value delivery, as well as providing advice, guidance, and leadership for the colleague life cycle. The position requires maintaining a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Trinity Health's Integrity & Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior. The individual will oversee the development and administration of primary care and specialty compensation models in accordance with Trinity Health standards and physician agreements, modeling compensation for physicians based on productivity models and engaging them in discussions regarding their productivity and its impact on compensation as necessary. Close collaboration with the operational finance analyst team is essential to jointly provide performance metrics and budget variances, ensuring timely and seamless communication to providers regarding future compensation changes.
