About the position

The position is accountable for leading, guiding, and directing the Trinity Health ministry or enterprise functional responsibilities. This role is crucial in enabling RHM level strategy to address both internal and external business and regulatory issues. The individual will provide functional expertise and ensure the fulfillment of performance and service standards, which are essential for consistent operating performance and achieving financial goals. The position involves identifying, defining, and solving complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business. Collaboration with System Services Areas, Regions, and Health Ministries is key to ensuring consistency and integration of strategy and operations. The individual must maintain awareness of new industry developments and standards, providing decision support and operations or optimization leadership focus. In terms of leadership, the role requires providing advice, guidance, and leadership to RHM and Region leaders in developing strategies and achieving performance goals. It is essential to enable collaboration across and within service areas, RHM, and Regions to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations. The position also involves leading the standardization and optimization of policy, process, and methodology, establishing a national community of practice. Additionally, oversight of Vendor/Contract Labor Management is required, including centralizing strategy and optimizing spend. Strategically, the individual will collaborate in system-wide strategy development and deployment of functional area priorities and initiatives. They will support regional efforts to comply with functional area priorities and be accountable for the selection, evaluation, and overall success of the functional leadership teams. This role serves as the organization-wide focal point for establishing functional strategies and governance over financials and staffing, ensuring effective communication between SYSTEM SERVICES REDESIGN functional area, RHM, and Regions leaders. Operationally, the position is responsible for measuring and reporting KPIs/metrics and value delivery, providing advice, guidance, and leadership for the colleague life cycle. The individual must maintain a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, as well as the Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Responsibilities
