About the position

The Director, Pipeline & Product Communications at Revolution Medicines is responsible for creating and implementing public relations strategies for the company's oncology pipeline and product franchise. This role involves preparing and executing communications plans that enhance understanding and differentiation of the company's innovative products, supporting media relations, thought leadership, and educational campaigns to bolster the company's reputation.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation and implementation of public relations strategies for the RAS(ON) oncology pipeline.
• Prepare and execute communications plans and materials to differentiate the company's pipeline and product candidates.
• Support the company's reputation through media relations and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with various teams to prepare for product launches.
• Build relationships with key industry press and influencers to amplify the company's narrative.
• Shape messaging around brand and product milestones in partnership with the Head of Communications.
• Support the development of an editorial plan and contribute to the digital/social media strategy.
• Design and implement measurement practices to manage and communicate performance against objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with a focus on pipeline and product communications.
• Experience with product launches in oncology or a similar setting.
• Exceptional collaboration skills to partner effectively across departments.
• Ability to influence and advise leadership in communications and business settings.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare space and regulatory policy.
• Ability to turn complex ideas into easily understood stories for a broad audience.
• Strong management and leadership skills with experience directing agencies.
• Superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
