About the position

The Director of Procurement Operations at LSG Sky Chefs is responsible for leading procurement processes, driving digital transformation, and optimizing systems and tools to enhance efficiency and value creation. This role involves managing the procurement operations team, ensuring compliance with policies, and fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders to improve procurement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and implement optimized procurement processes.
  • Establish best practices and standard operating procedures for procurement activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of procurement processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to sourcing teams.
  • Manage and maintain procurement systems and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the procurement function.
  • Act as the power user for procurement systems, providing support and training to team members.
  • Ensure seamless integration of procurement systems with other enterprise systems.
  • Lead initiatives to digitalize procurement processes, leveraging new technologies and tools.
  • Identify and implement digital solutions to improve procurement efficiency and data transparency.
  • Drive the adoption of e-procurement and other digital tools within the procurement team.
  • Develop and implement data analytics capabilities to support procurement decision-making.
  • Generate and analyze procurement reports to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of procurement activities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment of procurement systems and processes.
  • Ensure procurement processes and systems comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, information systems, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing procurement processes and systems.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within procurement.
  • Experience implementing procurement systems and tools, such as SAP, COUPA, GEP, or other e-procurement platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
