About the position

In this role, you will immerse yourself in understanding your customers, employing empathy and design thinking to develop broad-scale solutions that provide significant leverage. You will also need to be adaptable, continuously evolving product strategies in response to industry trends and changing customer needs. Your business acumen will be crucial as you identify new product opportunities and enhancements that drive sustainable value for Capital One. You will promote a data-driven culture, using insights to manage the business strategically and tactically. As a technology-driven leader, you will foster an agile discipline within your teams, inspiring continuous improvement in delivery and ensuring that technology solutions are secure, resilient, and scalable. You will work closely with technology leaders to influence the architecture of our products and govern the efficient application of technology resources. Your leadership will be transformational, as you attract and empower top product talent, guiding them in developing and executing their local product strategies in an iterative and outcome-focused manner. We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, a strong communicator and influencer, and a doer who is passionate about customer focus. Responsibilities

  • Promote a data-driven culture to instrument products and validate outcomes.
  • Foster a strong agile discipline and inspire teams to continuously improve delivery.
  • Partner with technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure technology solutions.
  • Govern the responsible application of technology resources and define minimum viable products.
  • Attract, grow, empower, and inspire top product talent in an iterative and outcome-focused manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in digital product management

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • 5+ years of experience translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products
