About the position

As the Director of Product Management for Enterprise Systems & Engineering Applications at Rivian, you will lead a team responsible for delivering innovative software solutions that support supply chain operations, global financial systems, and product development teams. This role involves overseeing the development and management of various applications, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and driving operational efficiency. You will collaborate with business operations teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities

• Cross-collaborate with business operations leaders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business needs.
• Develop compelling business cases for product investments and secure buy-in from executive leadership.
• Build and develop a high-performing team to expand and deliver the product roadmap at high velocity and quality.
• Act as a leader and mentor for the team, enabling them to deliver their best work.
• Support and deliver on build, buy, partner recommendations and own strategy presentations to executives.
• Analyze existing product needs combined with customer feedback to prioritize and execute the product roadmap.
• Manage the existing product portfolio of supply chain, ERP, and home-grown enterprise applications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in digital product management in supply chain or product development systems and manufacturing operations systems.
• Understanding of ERP systems and landscape, and SaaS applications.
• 5+ years of experience leading high-performing product teams with a range of product initiatives.
• Domain expertise in automotive, supply chain, product development, and ERP.
• Experience with creating digital ecosystems of connected partners and integrations.
• User-centric product development approach with the ability to iterate on product features based on data and insights.
• Comfort working with development teams through periods of rapid iteration and scale.
• History of working through ambiguity and devising clean sheet solutions in emerging markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
