About the position

The Director of Product Management for Risk Management at Capital One is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative product strategies that enhance customer experiences and drive sustainable value. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, financial drivers, and technology solutions, as well as the ability to inspire and lead teams in an agile environment. The position focuses on creating well-designed products that help customers manage their finances more effectively, while also fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deeply immerse in understanding internal and external customers using empathy and design thinking to define broad-scale solutions.
• Promote a culture anchored in data to instrument products, validate outcomes, and manage the business strategically.
• Foster strong agile discipline and inspire teams to continuously improve delivery through key agility metrics.
• Partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, and scalable technology solutions.
• Establish a long-term product portfolio strategy informed by customer and business needs, driving alignment and securing resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 7 years of experience in digital product management

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• MBA or Master's degree
• 5+ years of experience in Agile product management
• 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products
