About the position
As a Director of Product Management in the Walmart Commerce Platform (WCP), you will lead the vision and charter to build the Walmart Commerce Platform that powers the experience for millions of our customers across Markets. This leader will drive the work with smart, passionate PMs, Engineers, and Data scientists to build the platform at scale that is truly multi-tenants - every single time. The eCommerce Product team builds products to enhance the experience for millions of customers who shop with us online or use the app to shop in our stores. You'll leverage the best and latest technologies to develop experiences that have changed the industry. The team is responsible for building a unified end-end commerce platform that provides extensible capabilities and can be integrated seamlessly by every Walmart business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Reimagining the largest Omni commerce platform that will help customers find anything and everything they desire.
- Defining a WCP vision and strategy around a scalable platform that powers all Markets and services.
- Bringing a passion to product management at scale.
- Problem solving with smart people.
- Defining and measuring key measures of success.
- Developing and implementing strategies to attract great product talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 11 years' experience in product management.
- 13 years' experience in product management or related area.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area.
- 10 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
- Supervisory experience.
- Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
