About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at ADP Ventures is responsible for driving marketing strategy and execution to support the growth of key portfolio companies. This role involves collaborating with various teams to develop go-to-market strategies, executing marketing programs, and enhancing brand visibility while working in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for both the CVC arm and its portfolio companies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Create go-to-marketing strategies for new products and services developed by portfolio companies, ensuring successful market entry and growth.
  • Conduct competitive landscape analyses to inform and refine product positioning and marketing messaging.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches with a cohesive, omni-channel marketing plan.
  • Utilize digital channels to promote the corporate venture capital arm and its portfolio companies.
  • Design, organize, and participate in industry events, client conferences, and networking activities.
  • Prepare collateral, sales readiness materials, and presentations for effective client conversations.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10-13 years of solid product marketing experience (B2B, B2C) ideally from a growth startup, technology, accelerator, or corporate venture capital.
  • Previous experience managing portfolio companies and/or partnership marketing along with events management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful client marketing programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence leadership.
  • Deep understanding of the buyer journey, partner channel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment with changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves
