About the position

The Director of Product Marketing (Research and Advisory) at EAB is responsible for driving marketing strategies and initiatives for the Research and Advisory business, particularly focusing on Strategic Advisory Services for senior leaders in the 4-Year Higher Education market. This role involves developing content and strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate demand, and support sales and renewals. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and project management skills, and will work closely with various teams to create impactful marketing materials and events.

Responsibilities

  • Shape marketing strategy by contributing to compelling marketing plans based on buyer journeys and personas.
  • Develop tailored marketing programming for different priority market segments and audiences.
  • Create high-quality, differentiating content to sustain and improve EAB's competitive position in education research markets.
  • Select best channels, messages, and media for generating awareness and leads.
  • Prioritize project queue to maximize impact on sales funnel and new business.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of EAB's Research perspective and communicate key insights effectively.
  • Curate and adapt content for various audiences and formats, demonstrating creativity and flexibility.
  • Write, produce, and edit effective content including blog posts, case studies, and webinars.
  • Lead strategic project management for marketing events, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Align with sales team leaders to develop content strategy and prioritize initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 6-8+ years professional experience in product marketing or related fields.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to express complex ideas clearly in written and graphical form.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to drive projects from beginning to end.
  • Intellectually curious, creative, and self-motivated.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional experience in content strategy, brand strategy, or marketing communications.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. higher education industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly gain understanding in complex subject areas.
