More than 4,000 companies around the world rely on Gong to support their go-to-market strategies and grow revenue efficiently. Gong is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Marketing to lead the strategic positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution of our product portfolio, consisting of three flagship applications. This role will be instrumental in driving product adoption, market share growth, and customer success in our key markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy for the company's product portfolio, aligning with business objectives and revenue targets
  • Use market research, product analytics, customer interviews, and other resources to become experts on our buyers' needs, goals, motivations, and technology requirements
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to specific personas, industries, market segments, and existing customers
  • Lead the development and execution of GTM strategies for new product launches, feature releases, and market expansion
  • Oversee the creation of high-impact content that supports marketing efforts
  • Partner with sales teams to develop effective tools, training, and content that empower them to communicate the value of our solutions
  • Champion our customers' needs to inform product strategy and roadmap
  • Develop and execute strategies to market to existing customers, driving upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities
  • Track and report on key product marketing KPIs, ensuring strategies are data-driven and results-oriented
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of product marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a product marketing role within an enterprise software company
  • Experience in a high-growth technology environment
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software markets, including key industries, personas, and competitive landscape
  • Experience in GTM strategy, sales enablement, and product positioning across a portfolio of products
  • Proven track record of leading high performing teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
