The Director of Product Marketing at Learning A-Z plays a crucial role in the marketing team, serving as the driving force behind the planning and execution of effective go-to-market strategies for all products. As a key leader, the Director will be responsible for recruiting, retaining, and developing top marketing talent, ensuring that the team is equipped to deliver impactful product marketing strategies. The role involves establishing best practices in product marketing, focusing on creating unique and differentiated positioning and pricing strategies informed by data. The Director will also maintain essential sales tools and resources to optimize sales outcomes, while providing market intelligence to inform product strategy and development. This includes ownership of customer satisfaction research and voice of customer initiatives, ensuring that new products are launched successfully with comprehensive market positioning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategy, with a strong focus on developing narratives that drive sales and support the Learning A-Z brand. They will enjoy collaborating with cross-functional partners to create go-to-market strategies and playbooks that enhance revenue outcomes. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the Director will engage with internal and external stakeholders, deliver presentations, and lead discussions with customers and industry experts. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product Marketing team to deliver product line revenue impact to the business.
  • Recruit, retain and develop top marketing talent at Learning A-Z.
  • Create and execute effective customer-centered product marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively within the marketing function and across the organization to advance product marketing strategies.
  • Establish excellence in product marketing best practices, including positioning and pricing strategies informed by data.
  • Maintain sales tools, pitch decks, playbooks, and communication templates in collaboration with sales leadership.
  • Provide market and customer intelligence to inform product strategy and development.
  • Successfully launch new products with comprehensive market positioning and deliverables.
  • Partner with industry experts and associations to enhance the relevance of Learning A-Z products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
  • 8-10 years of professional experience with 3+ years in product marketing, ideally in edtech, with literacy market experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of marketing leadership experience, including managing one or more manager-level direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to define successful go-to-market strategies and launch new products.
  • Experience influencing and developing new products for market launch.
  • Proven ability to establish relationships with customers and internal leadership at all levels.
  • Effective interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with modern marketing strategies for B2B SaaS product-led growth companies.
  • Highly analytical, naturally curious, and strategic with exceptional communication skills.
