About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at Snowflake is a pivotal role responsible for leading a team focused on the critical go-to-market strategies for Applications and Collaboration. This high-impact position involves bridging these two areas and collaborating with various teams across sales, product, partners, and marketing to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at driving adoption and expansion of Snowflake's offerings. The role requires in-office attendance in either San Mateo, CA or Bellevue, WA at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product marketers across applications and collaboration.
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies and innovative programs to position Snowflake as a leader in these areas.
  • Create compelling messaging, content assets, and sales enablement materials for market narratives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, partners, and marketing teams to maximize business success.
  • Communicate customer requirements and provide input to product management on enhancements and future direction.
  • Develop market and competitive intelligence, acting as a thought leader and expert.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of proven product marketing experience related to data management, SaaS, or application development.
  • Cross-functional team management and organizational skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage internal leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills to synthesize complex information into clear presentations and plans.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and executing successful go-to-market programs and campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and summarize data into actionable insights.
  • Technical and business understanding of prevailing and emerging data technologies, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Experience with database products preferred.
  • BS/BA, MBA preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
