About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at Zebra Technologies is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of product marketing programs for the Enterprise Mobile Computing portfolio. This role involves managing a team to drive go-to-market growth plans, overseeing product lifecycle marketing, and collaborating with various business units to create compelling marketing strategies that differentiate Zebra's offerings in the market. The position is strategic and requires strong marketing skills, business acumen, and the ability to work effectively with senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Owns, develops, and manages the global marketing GTM strategy for product introduction and lifecycle.
  • Lead development of GTM Strategy along with sales and business unit leadership.
  • Develops annual and quarterly top-level portfolio marketing plans based on key objectives.
  • Defines a compelling market position for each segment of the EMC portfolio.
  • Leads and nurtures a properly staffed, well organized, and highly motivated team.
  • Oversees global New Product Introduction (NPI) & lifecycle marketing program elements.
  • Serves as the North America Portfolio Marketing leader for NPI & lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Drives and leverages the Zebra product lifecycle marketing (ZLM) process.
  • Manages the marketing aspects of end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-service (EOS) processes.
  • Partners with other leaders to ensure effective representation of the Zebra portfolio.
  • Allocates and measures return on investment for a significant marketing budget.
  • Partners closely with the Global Enablement organization to empower sales associates and channel partners.
  • Champions cross-sell and attach marketing through web merchandising.
  • Plays a leadership role representing the Portfolio Marketing team.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business.
  • 15+ years of experience in marketing, including 10+ years in a marketing department or agency.
  • 7+ years of experience directly managing a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B technology marketing with global responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated capability in building and elevating team performance.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) best practices.
  • Strong business acumen in product development and channel/sales processes.
  • Experience in seller enablement content and program development.
  • Familiarity with modern account-based marketing approaches.
