As the Director of Product Marketing at Santander, you will be at the forefront of our mission to significantly grow our presence in the US, particularly with the launch of our national digital bank in 2024. This role is pivotal in leading the positioning and successful marketing of our core consumer banking and investment products, including checking accounts, high yield savings, CDs, and money market accounts. You will be responsible for refining the messaging and positioning of these products, ensuring they resonate with our target audiences and meet their needs effectively. In this position, you will deeply analyze our consumer total addressable market and customer needs, spearheading competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for differentiation. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with Product teams to evolve our value propositions and lead go-to-market planning for new product launches. Monitoring product health, including conversion funnels and customer engagement metrics, will be essential to assess product-market fit and drive continuous improvement. Your leadership will position the marketing team as thought leaders, influencing Santander's growth strategy and product roadmaps. You will develop a compelling consumer narrative that brings our brand to life through our products, guiding cross-functional teams in executing this narrative across various channels. Additionally, you will equip branch teams with the necessary training and resources to effectively sell our consumer products, while partnering with the Digital CX team to optimize the online consumer journey. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in product marketing, with at least 10 years of experience in the field, including 2 years in a leadership capacity. Your ability to communicate effectively, solve problems decisively, and foster a positive team culture will be crucial. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with a proven track record in financial services or regulated industries. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to influence senior management, making it a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to shape the future of Santander's consumer banking products.
