As a Director, Product Management in the CommScope RUCKUS wireless team, you will be joining the team that plays a pivotal role in driving the development, strategy, and execution of cutting-edge wireless access point solutions to deliver the best experience in Wi-Fi. Our mission is to define the future of Wi-Fi and the high-performance wireless products that our customers have come to expect from RUCKUS. This role demands a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Wi-Fi product strategy for RUCKUS, aligning it with the overall business goals and market trends.
  • Conduct continuous market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, assess competitive landscapes, and understand customer requirements and trends.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and partners to gather feedback, understand their needs, and translate these insights into actionable product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that the product roadmap is executed efficiently and within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Lead the product development process, including feature prioritization, defining product specifications, and ensuring the successful execution of development projects.
  • Plan and execute product launches, working with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing and sales materials, and overseeing go-to-market strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and assess product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings and address any potential issues or enhancements.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the WAP product line, including pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and budget management.
  • Communicate the product roadmap, project status, and key performance indicators to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in product management (5 years+), particularly in networking or technology-related fields (15 years+).
  • Strong understanding of wireless networking technologies and trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused with a keen eye for user experience and product quality.
