About the position

The Director of Product Operations is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of product design and development processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, allowing Product, UX, and Engineering teams to focus on customer problem-solving in alignment with the overall product strategy. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team and shape collaboration within the extended organization, including partner functions such as Support, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong collaborations with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders.
  • Streamline and coordinate product release processes in partnership with Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing teams.
  • Partner with Product, UX, and Engineering leaders to enhance business rhythms and metrics reviews.
  • Act as a model for implementing and testing solutions in the product, driving operational improvements.
  • Enhance communication across product, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Develop tools and practices supporting product design and development activities.
  • Define and enforce best practices for goal-setting and tracking measurable results.
  • Monitor operational metrics, identify improvement areas, and drive continuous enhancement initiatives.
  • Develop onboarding programs, best practices communication, and process improvements.
  • Serve as an advisor to leadership, supporting strategic decisions and alignment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Product Operations experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Direct ownership and drive of product planning, tracking, and release processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent leadership and persuasion skills.
  • Deep understanding of stakeholder needs within a Product/Eng/UX organization.
  • Track record of process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate operational risks impacting product delivery.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Customer-centric approach to product value delivery.
  • Experience building operational tools.
