Requirements

  • Proven experience in driving organizational change and developing strategic plans.
  • Exceptional skills in communicating complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
  • Experience in a technology or cybersecurity context.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the CISO to develop and implement strategic and operational plans for the information security department.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic planning processes to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the department's operational activities and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Serve as the liaison for the Office of the CISO, engaging with stakeholders to drive information security initiatives.
  • Lead transformative maturity and promote innovative approaches to enhance resilience against cyber threats.
  • Represent the CISO in meetings and articulate cybersecurity strategies effectively.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic projects related to information security, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Establish and maintain project management frameworks for standardized execution of projects.
  • Monitor project budgets, resource allocations, and timelines, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop performance monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of information security initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to the CISO and executive leadership on the status of information security efforts.
  • Establish accountability frameworks to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities within the team.
  • Develop governance structures to support effective decision-making in alignment with business priorities.
  • Support the professional development of team members and ensure they have necessary skills and resources.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business and technical aspects of information security to guide strategic decisions.
