About the position

The Director of Project Management is responsible for leading project management for multiple remediation efforts within the Office of Remediation PMO. This role focuses on driving timely and targeted delivery of initiatives, developing processes for product prioritization and development, and improving departmental productivity through effective delegation. The director will communicate project statuses, manage risks, and foster a culture of risk management and accountability across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and reviews plans, manages issues and risk, analyzing workflow, establishes priorities, resolves blockers.
  • Meets with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
  • Refines processes used to take projects from concept through implementation using the SAFE framework.
  • Drives process from initiation through closure, leveraging Remediation Office Frameworks and standards.
  • Engages in continuous improvement with team to realize increased value to the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Project Management, or similar).
  • 10+ years of experience in project management or related field.
  • Proven experience in leading complex projects and managing cross-functional teams.
