About the position

The Director Provider Communications is responsible for leading the Enterprise Provider Communications team, focusing on the strategy, management, production, and execution of all external provider communications. This role supports provider contractual relationships across various lines of business, including Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, ANA, and FEP. The position involves developing tactical plans aligned with enterprise goals, managing issues and crisis communications, and enhancing provider communication processes through innovative strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop tactical planning to support and align with enterprise goals.
• Anticipate changing needs from key enterprise initiatives and business partners.
• Oversee issues management and crisis communications response functions for critical provider issues.
• Develop and execute new technology and innovative electronic communication strategies to enhance provider communication processes.
• Act as the point-of-contact for regulatory and compliance regarding State-specific communication and directory requirements.
• Engage new email strategies to improve efficiencies and provider experience with electronic notifications.
• Oversee the development and execution of all Medicare Advantage and Medicaid provider marketing and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in provider networks, leadership, and enterprise communications.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid communication guidelines preferred.
