About the position

The Director of Public Health Practice leads experiential learning and career services for the UT School of Public Health San Antonio. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Research and Partnerships, this position focuses on planning, developing, and overseeing the delivery of student experiential learning and career development programs, including internships, co-ops, and practicums. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker motivated by student success and outcomes, capable of designing and executing strategies while collaborating with external partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and development of experiential learning programs for students.
  • Oversee the delivery of career development programs, including internships and practicums.
  • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to enhance student opportunities.
  • Facilitate workshops and sessions for students and faculty preceptors.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of experiential learning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in program development and management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
