About the position

The Director, Influencer Marketing, PR at Huda Beauty is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing PR and influencer strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement in the Americas region. This role involves leading strategic initiatives, cultivating relationships with media and influencers, and overseeing partnerships to elevate the brand's presence and credibility.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional influencer strategy for the Huda Beauty portfolio.
  • Create and lead strategies for engaging talent across various influencer tiers.
  • Identify and nurture existing influencer relationships while expanding into new demographics.
  • Manage daily communication with influencers and their management teams.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing to ensure consistent brand storytelling.
  • Plan and execute launch events, including venue selection and content contracts.
  • Partner with Global teams for alignment and support on influencer strategies.
  • Manage the PR and influencer marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnerships with influencers, ensuring alignment with KPIs.
  • Stay updated on pop culture, social media trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Set KPIs, measure effectiveness, and report insights on influencer campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging content, including press releases and social media posts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of influencer or related marketing experience in beauty/makeup, with 4+ years in working with celebrity and micro-influencers.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with skills to coach and develop teams.
  • Proven track record of successful campaigns in the beauty space and existing relationships with influencers.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in developing and executing social and influencer strategies.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and content best practices.
  • Passionate about pop culture and storytelling.
  • Desire to innovate in the beauty industry.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker for disruptive content and campaigns.
