Responsibilities

• Perform project management duties and serve as primary client liaison, overseeing work plan execution and providing status reports.
• Generate invoices and manage the project budget, ensuring deliverables are developed and distributed.
• Identify and qualify potential leads for formal follow-up by the firm.
• Direct channel development activities to appropriate team leaders for follow-up.
• Collaborate with firm leaders to analyze target areas for development and prioritize market approaches.
• Create innovative ideas for industry-focused relationship-building events to enhance brand awareness.
• Represent the company at regional trade association meetings to promote services.
• Develop existing client relationships for other service areas in identified regions.
• Gather competitive intelligence and industry trend knowledge, sharing insights with client services, marketing, and sales.
• Document business development activities with prospective clients in the firm's CRM system.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA or MS Degree highly desired.
• Ten (10) plus years of experience in school finance as a superintendent or assistant superintendent.
• Solid analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Must be able to pass the Series 50 Municipal Advisor exam within one (1) year of hire.
• Ability to work under a defined and planned directive with minimal supervision.
• Maturity and adaptability to interface with various personality profiles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
