The San Diego Unified School District, the second largest district in California, is seeking a Director of Purchasing and Contracts. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the procurement processes and contract management for the district. The Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing all procurement activities, which include the acquisition of supplies, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the district's operations. This position requires a commitment to educational equity and aims to create access and opportunity for students who are furthest from educational justice.
