About the position

The Business Systems and Strategy Lead will oversee the GPO Quality strategy and manage budgetary controls for a global team. This role involves directing change initiatives, driving strategic alignment across GPO Quality, and supporting the Manufacturing Division's journey towards World Class Manufacturing and Supply. The incumbent will also provide leadership for financial tracking, governance processes, and continuous improvement in key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Direct change and standardization across GPO Quality.
• Drive and align strategic initiatives supporting World Class Manufacturing and Supply.
• Provide leadership and oversight for Tier and governance processes and meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement in key performance indicators and business outcomes.
• Enable and lead Hoshin Kanri development and deployment.
• Deliver effective portfolio management for GPO Quality.
• Provide leadership for GPO quality financial tracking and reporting.
• Execute Chief of Staff responsibilities in support of the VP, GPO Quality.
• Manage financial data interpretation and aggregation for GPO Quality.
• Partner with Regional Leads to resolve deviations from financial plans.
• Lead the Financial Management support team for GPO Quality and EQA.
• Establish governance processes to monitor milestone actions.
• Work with the GPO Quality Leadership Team to identify key initiatives and enable critical projects.
• Ensure tools and resources are in place to support initiatives.
• Support the development and interpretation of business and systems metrics.
• Provide effective training and capability support for GPO Quality colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related area of study.
• Ten (10) years of strategy development and oversight work experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Strategic and effective interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle organizational complexity and manage multiple initiatives.
• Demonstrated people management and coaching skills.
• Ability to be decisive and influence management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills based on science, facts, and data.
