About the position

The Director of RCM Shared Services at OneOncology is responsible for overseeing the efficiency and success of practice-based revenue cycle management (RCM) teams. This role involves driving RCM projects, ensuring quality assurance, and utilizing analytics for workflow optimization. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage and train staff while implementing policies and workflows across OneOncology practices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement policies and workflows in both new and existing OneOncology practices.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of centralized RCM offerings for assigned shared service practice pods.
  • Manage quality processes that contribute to revenue cycle management.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate staff to establish and maintain best practices.
  • Review and analyze KPI reports to identify trends and develop action plans for quality issues.
  • Administer system configurations for OneOncology-owned database tables as required.
  • Identify training needs and develop training materials, process maps, and instructions for practices and vendors.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to identify meaningful metrics for RCM review.
  • Participate in committees and work with payer and finance teams to optimize revenue opportunities.
  • Drive RCM projects and implementation efforts related to RCM delivery initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Sr Director of RCM to prioritize and deploy resources for optimal RCM performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in relevant healthcare and RCM leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong background in managed care payer market.
  • Oncology experience is a plus.
  • Significant travel required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge of practice management software preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Flatiron OncoEMR proficiency desired but not required.
  • G4 Centricity proficiency desired but not required.
