About the position

The Director of Region Operations at Lumen is responsible for overseeing operational activities at the regional level, managing policies, projects, and initiatives both regionally and nationally. This role involves evaluating current systems and processes, implementing standard procedures, and enhancing operational efficiency through data analysis and Lean management techniques. The position serves as a central resource for various operational functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for the region.
• Define, develop, and identify opportunities for local market and national initiatives through reporting and analysis.
• Work with national support and local field operations teams to implement standards and policies.
• Recommend and develop process improvements leveraging data and technical solutions.
• Align regional structure with goals and targets for regional objectives including technician efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate and manage ECO training requirements and contractor assessments.
• Support project management for ECO VPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Process improvement experience in telecommunications or similar industries.
• Proven ability to make strategic, operational, and administrative decisions.
