About the position

The Senior Sales Representative at HM Insurance Group is a senior-level role focused on maintaining and growing a profitable book of business in the Group Insurance market. The incumbent will develop strategies for complex sales opportunities, work with management on new products and services, and collaborate with various distribution channels to promote core product lines. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing business and generate new business revenue in the Group Insurance market.
  • Develop strategies for complex sales opportunities and improve overall profitability.
  • Work through distribution channels including brokers and TPAs to promote Employer Stop Loss and other insurance products.
  • Travel extensively to meet with prospects and clients, promoting HMIG products and strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to Senior Management on sales progress and activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a High School diploma/GED with six years of experience in sales and marketing of group insurance products.
  • Accident and Health Sales License is required.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CLU, HIAA, CEBS, or CBP are preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of the insurance business, particularly in Life, Health, and Accident insurance.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $88,000 to $132,000 based on qualifications and experience.
