The Director of Regional Sales for the Western region at Carlisle Construction Materials is a pivotal role responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue and margin goals. This position entails overseeing a team of 4 to 6 regional sales managers, each of whom manages a team of internal sales personnel and external independent representative agencies. These representatives hold exclusive rights to sell Carlisle products within their designated territories. The sales strategy encompasses both distribution partnerships and direct-to-contractor transactions, ensuring a comprehensive approach to market penetration and customer engagement. In this role, the Director will direct regional sales activities to foster continuous profitable growth. This includes aiding in the creation, execution, and sustainment of regional sales plans and individual Territory Development Plans (TDP) for each regional manager and their respective representative firms. Building and maintaining strong relationships is crucial, as the Director will work to ensure alignment between Carlisle Syntec, its representatives, distribution partners, and roofing contractors. The position also requires optimizing sales channels within each regional territory, including the development of contingency plans to address potential challenges. Additionally, the Director will support company strategic initiatives, which include new product development, marketing efforts, and activities related to the Carlisle Operating System (COS). Talent acquisition, development, and retention are also key responsibilities, as the Director will facilitate the creation of Individual Development Plans, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and mentorship to new employees. Representing the company in professional organizations is another important aspect of this role, ensuring that Carlisle Construction Materials maintains a strong presence in the industry.
