About The Position

The Director of Reporting and Data Visualization will lead a newly centralized team of business analysts focused on transforming complex data into clear visual insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role involves developing and managing Tableau and PowerBI dashboards and reports, providing actionable analysis, and supporting data-driven corporate strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Operation Research, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in delivering business analytics, data, and/or data science at enterprise scale.
  • 5+ years of experience managing analytics teams in fields such as Marketing Analytics or Product Analytics.
  • Extensive experience developing user-friendly, intuitive, and accurate reports optimized for performance.
  • Expert knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and query development, including SQL, Alteryx, dbt, Snowflake, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Extensive experience leading and managing complex cross-functional projects.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to synthesize data and deliver meaningful insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's/PhD/MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a centralized team of business analysts in managing the reporting hub for the Enterprise Analytics team.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with real-time insights into key metrics.
  • Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to understand complex business objectives and influence solution strategies.
  • Implement industry best practices in reporting and data visualization, including UX/UI and query optimization.
  • Establish enterprise reporting governance and best practices for data sources and usage.
  • Ensure reports and dashboards adhere to performance standards and optimize queries for maximum performance.
  • Explore and implement new data and analytic tools and techniques to address business problems.
  • Build organizational partnerships to define and inform key strategic decisions.
  • Ensure sound data strategy, quality, and coding best practices.
