About the position

The Director of Retail Delivery (Fuel & Convenience) is a leadership role within CGI, responsible for overseeing the delivery of support, testing, and deployment activities for clients in the fuel and convenience retail sector. This position involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, leading strategic initiatives, and ensuring successful execution of projects across various global delivery centers. The role requires a deep understanding of the retail convenience industry and the ability to guide teams in delivering complex business transformation technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead retail deliveries for clients in collaboration with CGI partners across global delivery centers.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders and participate in day-to-day operations interactions.
  • Provide thought leadership on key initiatives for clients and support strategic pursuits.
  • Guide proposal building and oral presentations to create business solutions based on client requirements.
  • Accountable for winning competitive proposals and executing assignments, projects, and large delivery programs.
  • Provide industry thought leadership through publications, social media, and client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading medium to large teams of IT professionals globally.
  • Minimum of 10 years of expertise in the Retail Convenience industry, particularly in fuel retail applications such as NCR, Gilbarco, and Verifone.
  • At least 10 years of experience in defining, selling, and delivering complex business transformation technology solutions, including systems integration.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Strong leadership skills in managing diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of consumer services in the retail sector.
