About The Position

The Director of Revenue Accounting at Worldwide Clinical Trials is responsible for establishing and executing revenue accounting policies and controls across the organization. This role ensures compliance with ASC 606 under US GAAP and manages revenue recognition and reporting within a global framework. The position involves collaboration with various business stakeholders and leading a high-performing team to enhance financial management and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's degree in accounting strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition, preferably in the CRO or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Experience with ASC 606 implementation and execution.
• Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience within a professional services business and working in a global organization.
• Strong financial modeling ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of revenue recognition for the consolidated entity, including policies, processes, and controls.
• Support business partners on operational and financial issues related to revenue recognition, including contract terms and performance obligations.
• Deliver reporting, information, analytics, and recommendations on complex revenue recognition topics.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and maintained for revenue accounting, implementing remediations for deficiencies.
• Lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring motivation, engagement, and performance.
