About the position

The Director of Revenue Assurance & Retail Operations plays a pivotal role in leading the organization's efforts in data analytics and operational excellence. This position is responsible for providing technical expertise and effective execution in various areas, including manufacturer merchandising support, sales process optimization, and retail deal team operations. The Director will also support the organization's digital transformation initiatives, known as Future Ready Holt, ensuring that strategies and tactics are developed and executed to enhance sales effectiveness, improve go-to-market processes, and increase market share. The individual will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making and profitability, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of the company. In this role, the Director will hire, develop, and evaluate team members to foster a culture of productivity and teamwork, ensuring the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS). They will model and promote the use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools to align the team with the company's vision, values, and mission. Collaboration with internal and external leaders is essential to ensure a comprehensive understanding of opportunities and the execution of effective strategies. The Director will also focus on dynamic sales process solutions to eliminate barriers and increase velocity, ultimately achieving market share and profitability targets. The position requires a strong focus on cross-departmental collaboration to maximize sales programs, leverage data analytics, and drive technology transformation. The Director will be responsible for executing solution-focused planning and problem-solving measures to support business objectives. They will influence and initiate learning and comprehension plans within the organization to ensure effective execution of strategies. Additionally, the Director will monitor the competitive landscape and collaborate with stakeholders to adapt strategies in a timely manner to meet goals and objectives. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS)
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes
  • Collaborates with various internal and external leaders to ensure proper understanding of opportunities and effective execution of strategies
  • Drives dynamic sales process solutions to remove barriers and increase velocity
  • Collaborates cross-departmentally to execute sales, program maximization, data analytics, and technology transformation initiatives
  • Executes solution-focused and enterprise-driven planning and problem-solving measures
  • Influences, initiates, and executes organizational learning and effective execution of strategies
  • Creates and executes effective strategies around data utilization and sales effectiveness
  • Monitors and evaluates the competitive landscape and collaborates to adapt strategies as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Sales, Finance or Marketing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Eight years of directly related business management and/or operational management experience leading diverse sales teams
  • At least 3 years of previous management experience is required
  • Experience in the construction equipment rental industry preferred
  • Experience managing sales teams and diverse product offerings
  • Exceptional communication skills - verbal, non-verbal, written, and presentation
  • High levels of situational adaptability and flexibility
  • Proficient with planning, problem-solving, organization, analysis, and process reengineering
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, SalesForce CRM, and Microsoft ERP
  • Strong influencing capabilities and effective at working with all levels of the organization
  • Firm knowledge of the sales management process, data analytics, financial statements, and change management
