About the position

The Director, Risk Governance - Third Party Lifecycle Management at Visa is responsible for overseeing the Third-Party Lifecycle Management Program (TLMP), which serves as a second line of defense in managing third-party risk. This role involves governance, oversight, and strategic problem-solving to ensure effective risk management throughout the lifecycle of third-party relationships. The Director will lead initiatives to enhance processes, manage stakeholder inquiries, and develop exit strategies for third-party relationships, all while fostering a positive work environment and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop TLMP's approach to non-supplier relationships for better oversight.
• Serve as the primary contact for TLMP client and stakeholder inquiries.
• Identify and implement process enhancements for third-party risk management activities.
• Develop and implement exit strategies for third-party relationships.
• Oversee the quality control of TLMP reporting and analytics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree or 3+ years with a PhD.
• 8+ years of experience in third-party risk management or governance.
• 5+ years of experience in the Payments industry or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Third-Party Risk Management Programs.
• Experience in developing and implementing exit strategies for third-party relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with risk management tools and technologies.
• Proficiency in financial and workflow systems such as Ariba, Oracle, Coupa.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership development and people management.
