KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director or Director of Risk to join our Management Risk Management Digital Office organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that technology aligns with business objectives and the overall technology strategy of the firm. The successful candidate will assume a strategic and proactive approach, acting as the main point of contact for IT project planning within specific business functions. This includes establishing technology roadmaps and effectively managing the pipeline portfolio to meet business expectations and perceptions. The Director will also support ongoing two-way communication regarding technology strategies, priorities, and governance, while understanding the business strategy, processes, and decision-makers to participate in prioritization for delivery and execution teams. In this position, the Director will develop solid business relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to key leaders and stakeholders to proactively support business objectives. Close collaboration with business stakeholders is essential to outline technology fiscal planning and be accountable for overall technology spending. The Director will contribute to the IT program organization by developing best practices, methodologies, key performance indicators, and metrics to demonstrate the value offered within specific support areas, thereby improving business and IT engagement. Additional responsibilities for the Director include partnering with the IT Delivery Organization and sharing accountability for project delivery. The Director will act as the Business Executive level escalation point, ensuring that business expectations, goals, and objectives are met. This role requires a minimum of ten years of relevant business experience in technology consulting services, operations, and business processes, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in technology, strategy development, and implementation, with the ability to identify innovative business solutions and develop multi-faceted business plans that align with the firm's overall mission and objectives. Outstanding communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork. The ability to build strong professional relationships and influence all levels across the organization is crucial, as is the capacity to foster the development of high-performance teams and set strategic initiatives for the team.
