KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director or Director of Risk to join our Management Risk Management Digital Office organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that technology aligns with business objectives and the overall technology strategy of the firm. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for IT project planning within specific business functions, establishing technology roadmaps and effectively managing the pipeline portfolio. This position requires a strategic and proactive approach to steer business expectations and support ongoing communication regarding technology strategies, priorities, and governance. The Director will need to understand the business strategy, processes, and decision-makers to effectively participate in prioritization for delivery and execution teams. In addition to managing relationships with key leaders and stakeholders, the Director will partner closely with business stakeholders to outline technology fiscal planning and be accountable for overall technology spending. This includes contributing to the development of best practices, methodologies, key performance indicators, and metrics that demonstrate the value offered within specific support areas, ultimately improving business and IT engagement. The role also involves leading with the IT Delivery Organization, sharing accountability for project delivery, and acting as the Business Executive level escalation point to ensure that business expectations, goals, and objectives are met. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten years of relevant business experience in technology consulting services, operations, and business processes, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field. They should be well-versed in technology strategy development and implementation, with the ability to identify innovative business solutions and execute multi-faceted business plans. Outstanding communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential for leading a customer service-driven environment and fostering high-performance teams. Experience in leading geographically dispersed teams and proficiency in tracking and forecasting budgets are also critical for success in this role.
