KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director or Director of Risk to join our Management Risk Management Digital Office organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that technology aligns with business objectives and the firm's overall technology strategy. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for IT project planning within specific business functions, establishing technology roadmaps and effectively managing the pipeline portfolio. This position requires a strategic and proactive approach to steer overall business expectations and perceptions while supporting ongoing two-way communication regarding technology strategies, priorities, and governance. Understanding the business strategy, processes, and decision-makers is essential for participating in prioritization for delivery and execution teams. The Director will develop solid business relationships to become a trusted advisor with key leaders and stakeholders, proactively supporting business objectives. This includes partnering closely with business stakeholders to outline technology fiscal planning and being accountable for overall technology spend. The Director will also contribute to the IT program organization by developing best practices, methodologies, key performance indicators, and metrics to demonstrate the value offered within specific support areas, effectively improving business and IT engagement. In addition to these responsibilities, the Director will partner and lead with the IT Delivery Organization, sharing accountability for project delivery. This role will act as the Business Executive level escalation point, ensuring that business expectations, goals, and objectives are met. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten years of relevant business experience in technology consulting services, operations, and business processes, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field. The role demands a well-versed understanding of technology, strategy development, and implementation, as well as the ability to develop and execute multi-faceted business plans that align with the firm's overall mission and objectives.
