About the position

The Director of Risk Management at West Oaks Hospital is responsible for overseeing the clinical identification, evaluation, and coordination of corrective actions related to risk issues in patient care. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive Risk Management program to mitigate risks associated with psychiatric care and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and monitors a Risk Management program in accordance with UHS T.E.R.M Program Leadership Competencies.
  • Coordinates corrective actions related to risk issues in patient care.
  • Creates methods to avoid, eliminate, and/or reduce risk situations associated with the provision of patient care and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • RN License, LPC, LMSW, LCSW certification required.
  • Three years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting or related field with specific knowledge in high-risk areas, Joint Commission, CMS, and other relevant state and federal regulations.

Nice-to-haves
