About the position

The Director of IT Resiliency at Fidelity Investments is a strategic leadership role focused on enhancing the resiliency capabilities of the Asset Management (AM) organization. This position involves developing and executing the IT Resiliency Program, ensuring effective recovery plans, and driving initiatives that improve operational resilience. The director will collaborate with technology teams and business partners to monitor and report on resiliency metrics, while also providing domain expertise in continuity and recovery principles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the strategic vision of AM's IT Resiliency Program.
  • Define, lead, and execute resiliency initiatives to enhance capabilities.
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure actionable and effective recovery plans.
  • Support the Information Barriers program and provide executive-level reporting.
  • Supervise metrics and drive improvements to processes, including automation for efficiency.
  • Define key performance and risk indicators to demonstrate readiness for impacting events.
  • Collaborate with the Business Resiliency lead to ensure continuity plans are assigned.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in Business and IT resiliency in the financial services industry.
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery certifications preferred.
  • Solid understanding of technology infrastructures, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Snowflake), and applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with database structures, security, and SQL.
  • Experience in Asset Management or Investment Management Technology.
  • Proven project management experience including prioritization and issue mitigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis techniques and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Python).

Nice-to-haves

  • Cloud certifications are a plus.
