About the position

The Director of Sales and Marketing at The Manor at Penn Village is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective census development and strategic partnerships within the healthcare community. This role focuses on building relationships with local physicians, senior care organizations, and managed care entities, while also enhancing the company's brand and community outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented leader with strong business acumen, dedicated to fostering a positive culture and achieving financial viability for the healthcare center.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed revenue targets through census development for the healthcare center.
  • Develop and maintain hospital accounts and relationships with local physicians and community senior care organizations.
  • Assist with branding of the company.
  • Provide backup coverage for liaison and center level sales and marketing roles.
  • Develop and execute education and community outreach for surrounding areas of facilities location.
  • Act as the liaison between the company and the outside community to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities.
  • Utilize various platforms to create and identify partnerships to further growth in area markets.
  • Provide physician recruitment opportunities and program development.
  • Achieve facility occupancy and financial viability goals, along with developing plans for strategic growth in market share.
  • Evaluate and coordinate admissions for multiple care centers with appropriate staff.
  • Strategically plan and execute industry trade shows and business development activities.
  • Develop strategies to maximize admissions including daily contact with potential referral sources.
  • Conduct admission screening of potential patients, determining level of care and services required.
  • Provide innovative healthcare solutions through the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; RN/LPN Nursing degree preferred.
  • Current unencumbered state license, as appropriate.
  • Three (3) years' experience in business development and healthcare sales/marketing required.
  • Experience with managed care/insurance preferred.
  • Experience with public and commercial payers' sources required.
