About the position

Pheasant Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in fostering a resident and family-focused culture while driving business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, be team-oriented, and be passionate about building a positive community atmosphere. As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for exceeding revenue targets through effective census development strategies for our healthcare center. You will develop and maintain relationships with local physicians, community senior care organizations, and Managed Care organizations, ensuring a collaborative approach to healthcare services. In this position, you will assist with the branding of the company and provide backup coverage for liaison and center-level sales and marketing roles. You will also be tasked with developing and executing educational and community outreach programs to enhance our presence in the surrounding areas. Your role will involve acting as a liaison between the company and the community, generating a positive image and encouraging referral activities. You will utilize various platforms to create and identify partnerships that will further growth in the area markets. Additionally, you will be responsible for physician recruitment opportunities, program development, and organizing quarterly community on-site activities. Achieving facility occupancy and financial viability goals will be a key focus, along with developing and executing strategic growth plans to increase market share. You will evaluate and coordinate admissions for multiple care centers, ensuring that potential patients receive the appropriate level of care and services. Your innovative approach will be essential in creating and implementing new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes, ultimately leading to superior results and the development of a successful management team.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed revenue targets through census development for the healthcare center.
  • Develop and maintain hospital accounts and relationships with local physicians and community senior care organizations.
  • Collaborate with Managed Care organizations, BPCIs/ACOs, and other ancillary healthcare providers/services.
  • Assist with branding of the company.
  • Provide backup coverage for liaison and center level sales and marketing roles.
  • Develop and execute education and community outreach for surrounding areas of facilities location.
  • Act as the liaison between the company and the outside community to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities.
  • Utilize various platforms to create and identify partnerships to further growth in area markets.
  • Provide physician recruitment opportunities and program development.
  • Achieve facility occupancy and financial viability goals, along with developing and executing plans for strategic growth in market share.
  • Evaluate and coordinate admissions for multiple care centers with appropriate staff.
  • Strategically plan and execute industry trade shows and business development activities.
  • Develop strategies to maximize admissions including daily contact with potential referral sources.
  • Conduct admission screening of potential patients, determining level of care, services required, equipment needs, and insurance coverage.
  • Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; RN/LPN Nursing degree preferred.
  • Current unencumbered state license, as appropriate.
  • Three (3) years' experience in business development and healthcare sales/marketing required; managed care/insurance preferred.
  • Experience with public and commercial payers sources required.
  • Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
