About the position

The Director of Sales and Marketing at Consulate Health Care of Woodstock is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective census development and maintaining strong relationships with local healthcare providers. This role focuses on building a positive community image, enhancing brand recognition, and executing strategic marketing initiatives to achieve occupancy and financial goals. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, possess strong business acumen, and be passionate about fostering a culture of excellence within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed revenue targets through census development for the healthcare center.
  • Develop and maintain hospital accounts and relationships with local physicians and community senior care organizations.
  • Assist with branding of the company.
  • Provide backup coverage for liaison and center level sales and marketing roles.
  • Develop and execute education and community outreach for surrounding areas of facilities location.
  • Act as the liaison between the company and the outside community to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities.
  • Utilize various platforms to create and identify partnerships to further growth in area markets.
  • Provide physician recruitment opportunities and program development.
  • Achieve facility occupancy and financial viability goals, along with strategic growth in market share.
  • Evaluate and coordinate admissions for multiple care centers with appropriate staff.
  • Strategically plan and execute industry trade shows and business development activities.
  • Develop strategies to maximize admissions through daily contact with potential referral sources.
  • Conduct admission screening of potential patients and determine their care needs.
  • Provide innovative healthcare solutions and implement new ideas to improve systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; RN/LPN Nursing degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years' experience in business development and healthcare sales/marketing required.
  • Experience with public and commercial payers sources required.
  • Current unencumbered state license, as appropriate.

Nice-to-haves

  • Managed care/insurance experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing.
