Each day the global auction platform unleashes an ever-changing assortment of art, jewelry, fashion, collectibles, antiques and more, all with a starting bid of $1. We're seeking a Director, Sales who will be responsible for increasing revenue through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance and projecting future performance. This leader will also be responsible for exceeding their individual revenue goals and sales quota, growing the business year over year. This person will manage, train, set sales goals, drive strategic targets, and track the performance for the Columbus market. As a dynamic company, we move fast and seek to continuously improve - and while this will be a very demanding position, you'll be surrounded by a passionate team of individuals who are dedicated to the common goal of drastically changing the way personal property is sold, bought and moved across the country - and we have a lot of fun while we're doing it. Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence, with an emphasis on generating new business.
  • Partner with the teams to receive and analyze sales data to present realistic forecasts to leadership.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts.
  • Accountable for sales management related to the marketing of EBTH's services in specific regions to existing and prospective customers.
  • Set outbound calling targets and frequency.
  • Administrative duties included but not limited to, coordinating schedules, adopting and utilizing CRM to manage leads, opportunities, and activities of your team.
  • Take escalations as they arise.
  • Maintain a top level of service for all seller-facing issues.
  • Partner with marketing on new initiatives including emails, promotions and inbound web form.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful direct sales experience.
  • 5+ years of successful sales leadership or management experience.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Strong customer management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, and senior management with a commitment to helping others be successful.
  • Successful at uniting team members under a shared vision and know what motivates the sales teams.
