About the position

As a Director of Sales Engineering at Celestica, you will serve as the primary technical lead for the account management sales force, providing leadership in both pre-sales and post-sales activities for new and existing customers. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to articulate technology and product positioning, develop value propositions, and present complex solutions. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with customers' technical and engineering teams throughout the sales cycle and post-sales support processes, applying your deep market and technology understanding in the Cloud Datacenter and Enterprise Datacenter Solutions space.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-sales and post-sales activities for new and existing customers.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams from design, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and technical marketing.
  • Articulate technology and product positioning to develop value propositions for business and technical users.
  • Manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and support the transition to implementation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers' technical and engineering teams throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 7 to 12 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 7 years in Cloud Datacenter and Enterprise Datacenter Solutions.
  • B.S in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills for professional and consultative interactions.
  • Organizational and analytical skills to overcome sales challenges creatively.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AI / ML applications in enterprise and edge deployments.
  • Familiarity with standards, organizations, and consortiums of relevant technologies.
