About the position

ZeroTouch is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing based in Wilsonville, Oregon. This hybrid role is crucial for the growth and expansion of ZeroTouch, a company specializing in high-precision measurement solutions for industrial applications. As part of the Sandvik Group, ZeroTouch leverages global resources and industry knowledge to enhance manufacturing processes and quality control across diverse industries. The Director will be responsible for developing sales teams and expanding the company's reach into new national and global markets. This includes building key relationships, identifying new potential accounts, and creating and implementing marketing and communication plans to support the company's growth. The position involves executing a strategic 1-3 year roadmap for the global and national diversification of ZeroTouch products, developing a global network of partners to accelerate sales strategies. The Director will manage the sales force, conduct direct sales, and escalate opportunities while building and motivating a team to meet business objectives. Responsibilities also include designing mission plans, monitoring quotas and territory coverage, and recommending resources for sales goal execution. Establishing KPIs, revenue forecasts, metrics, pipelines, and action plans will be essential for driving proposal and contract processes with Sales Operations. In addition, the Director will develop and execute marketing strategies, create value propositions and marketing materials, and conduct market intelligence on prospects and competitors. Leading marketing efforts, overseeing the development of strategic collateral, and collaborating with executives to create key messaging are also key responsibilities. The role requires a strong focus on client interests, professionalism, and delivering on commitments with authenticity. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong communication skills to effectively convey relevant information to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales teams and expand reach into new national and global markets.
  • Build key relationships and identify new potential accounts.

  • Lead marketing efforts and train the sales team on marketing materials usage.
  • Oversee the development of strategic collateral and electronic sales tools.
  • Collaborate with Executives to create key messaging and execute action plans for high-value offerings.
  • Design marketing materials including brochures, videos, and customer presentations.
  • Manage integrated marketing programs across platforms including SEO, PR, tradeshows, and social media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 7 to 10 years of sales leadership experience including a minimum of 3 years managing employees in a global leadership role.
  • Proven experience in selling high-dollar capital equipment products to customers.
  • Experience penetrating, securing, and managing large major and multi-national accounts.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of marketing communications and public relations activities.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Possess valid driver's license, reliable vehicle insurance, and willingness to travel occasionally.
