About the position

The Sales Executive role at ServiceNow is focused on building and leading a team to drive new business sales growth in a designated region. This position involves developing sales strategies, engaging in territory planning, and fostering relationships to support revenue generation. The Sales Executive will also be responsible for mentoring team members, managing sales forecasts, and achieving sales goals while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build a team of direct Sales Executives to drive rapid new business sales growth in the region.
  • Develop and drive sales strategy for the region in conjunction with Sales Operations.
  • Engage in territory planning, relationship development, and opportunity development to drive revenue.
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor team members to drive excellence.
  • Develop territories and quotas for the sales team and communicate performance expectations.
  • Manage and report accurate forecasts and pipeline to the business.
  • Achieve annual sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Engage in C-level meetings to understand customer business requirements.
  • Build effective working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Retain and grow the existing customer base through regular engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Extensive track record of new business sales success, including presentation and negotiation skills at the C Level.
  • Strong success in recruiting, coaching, and managing a sales team.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and financial planning skills.
  • Ownership of accurate CRM reports, including forecasts and opportunity inspection.
  • Experience in driving sales processes and working relationships with Sales Operations.
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture and business drivers around IT.
  • Ability to build long-term strategic relationships at senior levels.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen.
  • Experience in building self-motivated sales teams that embrace collaboration and overachievement.
